Bringing Health and Wellness to Trilogy’s ACT Team by Vanessa Roush, MSN, RN

I started working as a nurse on Trilogy’s Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in November 2012. As a nursing student at Rush University, I completed two nursing rotations and my clinical immersion at the Trilogy Heartland Integrated Healthcare clinic. I was only the second nursing student to ever complete their immersion—a clinical program in which you work full-time as a student nurse for a month—at Trilogy. During my rotations and clinical immersion, I really liked that I was never stuck in one area and that the scope of my job was always changing. It happened that at the end of my immersion, Trilogy was looking to hire a full-time nurse for ACT. I immediately applied and, thankfully, was hired.
