Holiday Giving 2018
There is still time to make a year-end gift to Trilogy
Just a friendly reminder that there’s still time to make a year-end gift to Trilogy.
Thirteen years ago, Trilogy was a neighborhood-focused organization providing mental health services and vocational training to fewer than 400 people each year in Rogers Park and and from a small office in Evanston. Today, we serve more than 2,500 out of 14 locations throughout the city, including South Shore, Albany Park, Brighton Park, Logan Square and North Lawndale.
This growth has come by recognizing community needs and providing a broader scope of care to those we serve. We know that people suffering with mental illness or substance use can still find meaningful work while working towards recovery. Therefore, we have expanded and integrated our programs, offering culturally appropriate, evidence-based primary and behavioral health services in the communities where our clients live. We have evolved from job skills training to assisting clients in achieving long- term preference-based employment. We now approach the needs of individuals more holistically. We are proud of our expansion, but the true measure of our success lies in those we’ve helped to experience a more dignified and independent life.
In the past few years, we have faced daunting challenges, including an unrelenting opioid addiction crisis, state budget uncertainties, decreased foundation and corporate grants, and threats to federal funding for mental health and medical services. At the same time, we have redoubled our commitment to helping some of the most vulnerable and least empowered members of the Chicago community. Your gift provides psychiatric evaluation, psychological therapy, primary health screenings, substance use treatment, housing, and job placement to name only a few of the ways we assist those with serious behavioral health issues.
Trilogy provides a safe and respectful environment for individuals to explore their full potential and maximize their quality of life. We humbly ask you to invest in our clients’ treatment and recovery, to ensure an opportunity for them to fully participate in the communities of their choice, and to continue their self-discovery.
Please consider giving to Trilogy. With best wishes for the holidays and season
