Hope First
Hope First is a groundbreaking program designed to support those who have had a first experience with psychosis within the past 18 months. Hope First helps people recover and
regain independence and lead healthy, fulfilling lives by focusing on early intervention.
We support recovery by identifying each person’s goals, educating them about psychosis, and improving their overall quality of life through several differ treatment approaches:
- Psychiatric Care
- Individual Resiliency Training
- Supported Employment and Education
- Family Psychoeducation
- Recovery Support
- Case Management
- Substance Use Specialization
Hope First is effectively changing the way people who are experiencing psychosis receive treatment. Similar programs have been successful across cultures, and across the globe.
Hope First helps reduce avoidable physiological hardships from medication, stress on the individual experiencing symptoms and their network of support, and negative effects on education and employment. Early intervention may also reduce the lifetime costs of healthcare.
