FAQ

What is Trilogy?
Trilogy is a nonprofit organization that enables people in mental health recovery to build meaningful and independent lives through comprehensive and integrated care.

Who does Trilogy help?
We support people who struggle with significant mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorders, depression, and more. In addition, many of the people we serve face additional barriers like substance use or homelessness. Some are facing all these challenges at once. Every day, Trilogy provides a full array of mental and behavioral healthcare to some of the most marginalized populations in Chicago, regardless of ability to pay. Simply put, Trilogy exists to help people move toward wellness.

How long has Trilogy been doing this work?
We began in 1971 providing sheltered employment opportunities for people with mental illness in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago. Over the decades, our programs have grown and evolved to meet the behavioral healthcare needs of the people we serve in neighborhoods across the city and beyond.

What areas does Trilogy serve?
Trilogy serves all of the city of Chicago, as well as Skokie and Evanston. We see clients onsite at our offices in Rogers Park on the North Side, the Edgebrook/Sauganash area on the Northwest side, and Chatham on the South Side. Our Albany Park location specializes in child, adolescent and family therapy. In addition, our clinicians connect in the community and in-home to provide optimal support.

What insurance is accepted?
Trilogy serves all clients regardless of inability to pay and will ensure appropriate linkage to available resources and services. Medicaid and some private insurance accepted, and sliding scale fees are available. For more information, please visit Trilogy’s insurance and sliding scale fee page here.
